Assumptions- 1- The universe started with a Big Bang.
2- Nothing can be made from nothing.
Explanation-
1. Space- Time and Energy, all are the physical components of this universe.
2. If the universe started with a Big Bang, then Space-Time as well as Matter- Energy also were created at the moment of creation.
3. Something(call it x) beyond the scope of the universe must exist out of which the universe was created.
4. As x is beyond the universe so it is outside the scope of Scientific observation.
5. Mathematics has the power of making unobservable predictions, but the physical interpretation of any such mathematics is not possible, as x is not in the scope of observation.
So we come to a conclusion that x exists that led to the creation of the universe. This x exists before the creation and presumably even during the creation of the universe.
Creation of life-
Recently scientists have claimed that they will be able to create life in 3- 10 years time. If this is true then two possibilities exist.
1 Nothing such as soul exists as soul can be created by man, while creating life.
OR
2 Everything has a/the soul. So while creating life man doesn't need to create the soul. It is already there.
If we take the second possibility, owing to the great predictive nature of the presumption, we get that the soul like x is omnipresent and omnipotent.
If we equate soul with x we can find a great symmetry in the creation of universe and life.
If we substitute x for Brahman( Supreme soul) we get a model of the universe that is consistent with the Dharmic religions of the world. A scientific or mathematical non contradictory theory in support or opposition of the hypothesis is not possible as Brahman and equivalently Atman is beyond the universe( which is the maximum scope of science).
Brahman is omnipresent and omnipotent. Everything is a part of the same Brahman.
Soul(Brahman/ Atman),a superset of energy, like energy, is within every element of the universe. Soul like energy has various forms( but still formless and one like energy) and one of its condensed form is a jiva.
Jiva is the unobservable component of the living. When man engineers a living cell, the very act of engineering, condenses the soul in a jiva.
The act of breaking down of the jiva into Brahman is moksha or enlightenment, which is the chief topic of the Indian Religions.
Jiva exists even after death as like the body, it has a separate existence of its own. The jiva is webbed in a non ending cycle of life and death(see figure) till it attains Moksha.
As the jiva matures and evolves, so does the body and the cooperative relation between the jiva and its body leads to evolution of life.
